Clinical Study of Ocular Injury

Abstract
|
|
|
The authors analysed 64 cases of the ocular injuries among 3320 new-patients who visited to the clinic in 1971.
1. The incidence of eye injuries was 1. 9%.
2. The sex incidence was ¢¥90.6% in male and 9.4% female.
3. The incidence of injuries was prevalent in 11-30 years age group, and their large number of cases were injured from blowing, iron-pieces, while in under 10 years of age group, knife, needle, and sharp-pointed toys were more frequent causes.
4. The cornea was the most highly injured (35.6%) and then came the lens, the conjuntiva, the lid and the uvea.
